Gursel Mehmet is the Managing Director for the Middle East and Asia and has almost 20 years’ of experience in the human services, recruitment and outsourcing markets, with a particular focus on the design and delivery of successful programmes to support disadvantaged groups into employment. Mr. Mehmet has a demonstrable record of delivering strong growth and operational efficiency across both private and public-sector contracts and has worked with a range of government departments in the United Kingdom, Middle East and Asia. Mr. Mehmet has been with Maximus since 2014 and is responsible for delivery of all Maximus contracts in the Middle East and Asia. This includes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) where Maximus is one of the top performing providers of employment services to welfare recipients, and a Career Matching Provider in Singapore.  Mr. Mehmet currently serves on the Maximus Italia Board of Directors.
