Ania Mendrek

Ania has worked in the welfare-to-work market for well over 16 years, from overseeing the delivery of programmes to solution design, stakeholder management and supply chain design and business development. Most recently, Ania has been instrumental in bringing Maximus to set up their operations in Italy and Sweden. Her current role involves business development and stakeholder engagement across Italy and Sweden as well as positioning Maximus to successfully enter new markets across Europe. 

Her role involves concept design, partnership strategy and stakeholder engagement. She has been engaged in a discussion around Active Labour Market Policies and successful programme implementation with organisations such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Members of the European Parliament and the Employment Committee, the DG Employment and European Commission, as well as various EU Member States Employment Ministries and Public Employment Services, public and non-public providers of government services. As part of her involvement with the ILO, Ania delivered several Masterclasses at the ILO annual Employment Academy for international stakeholders including Labour Ministers, Senior Civil Officers in Public Employment Agencies as well as other key stakeholders within various governments. Ania is a regular speaker and presenter at international webinars and conferences related to employment and skills policies and the future of work.
